RIDING CLUB HORSE OF THE YEAR 2010

SPONSORED BY FROGHILL TACK

A new Competition for Vectis, this year, will be the Riding Club Horse of the Year Championship, run over a series of events from May through to October.

Points will be awarded for taking part and being placed in Show Jumping, Dressage, Showing & L.D.R. with a trophy and awards being presented at the A.G.M.

The horse, which must be owned and ridden by a Vectis member, may be ridden by 2 different riders, but only 1 in each discipline. There is no additional entry fee for the Championship, but riders who wish to enter must make it known on their entries for qualifying events so that we will keep an account of their horses’ points. The two best scores of a horse in each discipline will count towards the Championship, the highest attainable score being 12, the lowest 1. The maximum points attainable in any one discipline being 24. Events that qualify for points will have it clearly marked on the schedules.
